New Karting DVDs

Geoff Mitton Productions/kartvideo.com.au has released a new range of Australian karting DVD's.

There are six new titles - the much anticipated Karting Australia 5 and 6, plus several others featuring racing and on-board shots of various different types of karting around the country.

The DVDs cost $45 each, or $40 each if buying more than one. Available through www.kartvideo.com.au, Omega and IWT.

Karting Australia 5
Features the best races from City of Mt Gambier titles, CIK Round 2 at Bolivar on-board with CAMS Rising Star Brett Hobson, a review of the new Bolivar circuit in preparation for the 2006 Australian Sprint Kart Championships, some Superkarting from Mallala and some insane Hire Kart Racing. There is also a sample of the Victorian Open Sprint Kart Championships with one of the best races from the weekend and a quick look at various circuits around South Australia. Based on the best footage from two years and over one thousand hours of raw footage.
Classes: Clubman Over 40, Leopard Light, Formula Australia Light, 125 Rotax Max and 125 Gearbox Superkarts plus Hire Karts

Karting Australia 6
Awesome highlights from the Victorian Open Sprint Championships, there is an on-board camera destruction from the Australian Superkart Championships at Phillip Island, Superkarts from the Australian Motor Race Series at Winton. Also includes a fantastic race with drivers preparing to compete in the World Superkart Challenge from Mallala and details on the success of the ICC Superkart venture. Based on the best footage from two years and over one thousand hours of raw footage.
Classes: Midgets, Rookies, Junior Clubman, Junior National Heavy, Senior National Light, ICC Superkarts and 250 International Superkarts.

Victorian Open 1
The 2005 Victorian Open Sprint Kart Championship was one of the most competitive and well attended kart race meetings in Australia. Watch the best future motor racing talent in the country compete in massive fields. Check out some on-board footage from Scott Pye, Josh Tynan and Phillip King. The Victorian Open produced some unbelievable close racing and controversy. Also includes interviews with some of the drivers.
Classes: Clubman Light Prefinal, Rotax Light, Junior National Light, Formula Australia Light, Clubman Heavy, Midgets and Clubman Super Heavy Finals

Victorian Open 2
There was so much great action at the Victorian Open Sprint Kart Championships that even highlights of the finals require two DVDs. Victorian Open 2 has the added benefit of including kart race footage shot from a helicopter! 
Classes: Clubman Light, Senior National Heavy, Junior National Heavy, Rookies, Rotax Heavy, Senior National Light, Clubman Over 40 and Junior Clubman finals.

ICC Heaven
If you’re into gearbox karts you will love this DVD. ICC karts have 5 speeds, 45 horsepower and front brakes. Check out races 2, 3 prefinal and final from on-board CAMS Rising Star Brett Hobson and Paul Williams mixed with outside footage.  Some of the best on-board footage ever shot by the Geoff Mitton Productions team. Also includes footage from Tyson Pearce and Geoff Mitton campaigning ICC Superkarts at Mallala and Eastern Creek.

SA Karting Festival of Fun
Contains 7 races from the City of Mount Gambier titles on board with Ian Williams and Mason Merritt, a big crash at Broken Hill and a quick look at Barossa in both directions and in the dark.
