Driver PR – AKC round one winner Max Chudasko qualified outside the top ten in Emerald, but raced his way back to a top five in the TaG 125 class.
Having not run the past two years due to covid, New Zealand’s top Superkart drivers will contest the NZ Superkart Nationals and Grand Prix this weekend at Manfeild.
Team PR – Energy Corse Australia has been having a block buster 2022 and had a twelve driver team across seven classes at the penultimate round of the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship.
Team PR – With the team locking out the front row in qualifying, it was Patrick Buckley who came out the best placed of the Project X Racing team drivers, winning the AKC round last weekend.
Team PR – A1 Engines Motorsport had a small team of five drivers for the fourth round of the Australian Kart Championship, but only four got to participate in the competition.
Team PR – CXR Race Engines had five drivers across three classes at last week’s AKC round in Queensland, but scored a remarkable 1-2-3 in the 125cc TaG class.
Team PR – David Sera had seven Kartclass drivers across four classes at AKC Emerald and said Peter Bouzinelos’ win in KA2 “was overdue & keeps his championship hopes alive.”

With one round remaining in the 2022 Australian Kart Championship, Energy Corse Australia youngster Lana Flack heads three former winners in the chase for the AKC Ladies Trophy.
Driver PR – The Emerald AKC round resulted in another huge haul of points for front-running Queenslander Jace Matthews, taking victory in X30 and second place in KA3 Senior. He’s also established a Go Fund Me page to contest the OK World Championship in September.
Team PR – Melbourne-based ProKarting fielded a team of eleven drivers, including several from New Zealand, at the fourth round of the National Championships in Emerald on the weekend.
Driver PR – Despite missing the opening round, Declan Matthews has put himself into contention for a top three placing in the Australian Championship with another strong performance and podium at Emerald.
Driver PR – Aiden Schweikert made the flight up to the sunshine state for the fourth round of the SP Tools Australian Kart Championship but endured a challenging race meeting in the oversubscribed Cadet 12 class.
Despite a bunch of drivers not able to turn up because of covid, the Ipswich City Dirt Kart Club experienced its biggest event ever on the weekend with the running of the Bob Gartside Memorial. The Noise reports.
