The Victorian Karting Association has released the 2015 Vic Race Calendar, including details for the new State Championship Series that replaces the traditional one-event Vic Open.

Round 2 - April 12 - Wimmera
Round 3 - May 10 - Warrnambool
Round 4 - July 19 - Ballarat
Round 5 - September 6 - Hamilton

Round 1 - March 7/8 - Bendigo
Round 2 - June 13/14 - Gippsland
Round 3 - July 11/12 - Rochester

Victorian Championship Series Information
Classes:
Cadet 9, Cadet 12,
Junior National Light , Junior National Heavy, Junior Clubman,
TAG Light, TAG Heavy,
TAG Restricted Light, Heavy, Over 40s,
Clubman Light, Clubman Heavy.
Minimum : 15 entries.
Victorian Championship Series Format:
2 x practice sessions for each class
1 x qualifying session for each class
No warm up session on any day.
2 heats @11 km
1 x final @ 20 km
Final only counts on the day – all points count to the championship. Blue plate and trophy for the class winner at the end of the championship.
Friday/Saturday/Sunday.
Seniors Practice x 2 , 1 x qualifying session. Rest Saturday /Sunday
Juniors Saturday and Sunday.
Timetable will be subject to class formations and will be completed on the closing of entries. The host club track will be closed from the Friday prior to the event until the Official date of practice on the following Friday.
