The Glory Bound Rounds Begin

from Victor Maastricht 18 August 2014

On the 24th of August (this Sunday) the Central Coast Speedway Kart Club will be hosting round 6 of their 2014 Championship at the superb Gosford Showground venue.

In their quest for Championship glory in 2014, drivers only have 3 meetings left of the scheduled 8 round season to accumulate  as many valuable points as possible.

This meeting follows an extremely successful winter period for the club, with the running of the well supported annual Alan Hann Memorial, and the exclusive 50 Lap Shootout  race meeting being successfully conducted, where drivers had the opportunity to race on the super fast multi lane speedway venue.

Along with the all the Championship contenders, it is expected that over 60 talented speedway drivers will converge to Gosford as this will also be the last opportunity for them to gain valuable technical information for the Australian Speedway Titles being held at the venue in September.

If you haven’t had the opportunity to see speedway karts why not come out to the Gosford Showground on Sunday and watch this spectacle as drivers as young as 7 yrs old display their talent.

Racing is due to start at 9.30am and full canteen facilities are available during the day for all food and drink needs.

The meeting is open to all licensed Karting Aust. drivers and we encourage and welcome all drivers to come and give it a go, once you do you’ll be back .
