Lotus to Join CIK Stars of Karting

After a successful couple of months racing in Europe with the Lotus Race Karts Team, Victorian junior Nikolaj Thomas will soon debut the Lotus brand in the CIK Stars of Karting championship.
Thomas will compete aboard a Lotus C30 chassis in the junior KF3 class.
The team won't make the season opener at Ipswich later this month, but will run the remaining four rounds of the series, commencing at Bolivar in May.

Nikolaj has found some very useful pace in JMax recently and hopes to carry some of this form in to KF3.
"This will be the first Lotus kart running in KF3 in the world" is dad Steve informed KartSportNews.
"Nikolaj has been receiving great support from the European based team, particularly from Team Principal Franc Jerancic and Race Co-ordinator Domen Jerancic."
