Above: Jayden Ojeda put in a great drive to win the Junior MAX final, but few could deny that Bryce Fullwood (above) would have been favourite to take the win if he'd finished the race. Fresh from success at Top Guns, Fullwood smashed the field in the pre-final, winning by over 7 seconds and lapping way faster than anyone else. He dropped to fourth at the start of the final, but was soon back in the lead and pulling away - until the left rear tyre valve decided to unscrew itself.
