Tom Williamson's New Team For '14

press release 21 January 2014

Tom Williamson Motorsport will be looking for a good start to the year at the Todd Road Pro Tour round, with nine drivers across five classes making up a promising team for 2014.

Branching out to international drivers, TWM will have NZ junior champions Mason Armstrong and Caleb Cross making the trip to compete in the JMAX class. It will be Cross' first time at an Australian Pro Tour, while Armstrong made a big impression at the Rotax Nationals in 2013, polling JMAX.

Also representing TWM in the JMAX class is SA state champion Zane Morse, looking to continue on his winning streak. The final driver in the JMAX class for TWM is Cody Gillis who will be looking for a strong result after a top 10 finish at the first round in Albury. Gillis will be debuting his new Lewis Hamilton Kart after making the change in the off season.

Trophy Class driver Alec Morse will be aiming to improve on his impressive result at his first ever Pro Tour in Albury.

Rotax Light class will see brothers Reece and Bryce Davidson take the field. Both boys have shown promise in off season testing and will be out to prove themselves in what is sure to be a strong field. Rotax Heavy driver Grant Donnely will return to the TWM Pro Tour team after injury in 2013.

Returning to the DD2 masters class in 2014 is Adam Hunter who will be looking to continue his form from the World Finals where he won 2 heats against the world's best. Like Gillis, Hunter will be competing in a brand new Lewis Hamilton Kart and will be looking to follow up from a win in round 1 and secure quality points towards his campaign for the 2014 worlds.
