  • A new shipment of 2014 Kosmic and FA Karts has landed at Remo Racing headquarters. This shipment includes a new KZ chassis which has greater rear ride-height adjustment for more traction on the exit of the turns and a new revised braking system for optimum braking performance. RR also say the materials and tubing have been refined for greater balance and feel.

  • DPE Kart technology has appointed KartSchool Australia as the Sydney agent for Monaco race karts. KartSchool now specialises in Monaco, ART and Fernando Alonso (FA OTK) Karts. "These are three of the worlds most successful race kart manufacturers, between them dominating many of the results in Australia and Europe" KartSchool's Gerald Chait said. In addition, KartSchool has a full range of consumables, accessories, apparel and spare parts. "KartSchool Australia's aim is to help newcomers into our awesome sport of Kart Racing whilst at the same time supporting experienced karters."

  • Comments made by BRP CEP JosĂ© Boisjoli has led to speculation that Rotax is planning a cut-price entry-level kart and engine package to significantly increase their involvement in karting. More about this on karting1.co.uk HERE, plus an article and interview in Vroom online HERE.

  • New karting product unveiled in Europe recently:
    • Rental karts have been popular at the annual Offenbach kart show, particularly electric ones, such as the 'Rimo' kart as photographed by Vroom HERE.
    • The Offenbach show was also where the KK1 Modena Engine was made public. This engine features electronic direct injection instead of a traditional carburettor and uses fly-by-wire to control the butterfly instead of mechanical cable. More about this motor also on Vroom HERE

  • Vintage GP Gala Dinner details. There are plans for some very notable guest speakers from karting and motorsport in general. The gala dinner will be held at the Ipswich Civic Centre on the Saturday evening as part of the Australian Vintage Kart Prix.
