The West Australian KZ Series is proud to announce FMA Motorsport as the new Major Sponsor for the 2014 series.
The Series is now in its 3rd year and has grown substantially each year with 2014 being no exception.
“The response this year from Drivers and Teams wanting to race has been phenomenal” Committee member Paul Williams said.
“At this stage every round is going to have a capacity grid with the first round having 44 entries already.”
However, this wouldn’t be possible without the help and support of individuals and companies like FMA Motorsport.
FMA motorsport also sponsor a team in the series which includes the following drivers;
Andrew Freeman from FMA Motorsport is extremely pleased to be a part of the 2014 season. “I only started in karting a little over 12 months ago, but have been involved in supporting different forms of motorsport for a few years now”.
“Over the past 12 months I’ve formed some great friendships and met a lot of devoted people in the karting family here in WA. So when the opportunity came up to be involved in the WA KZ Series I jumped at it and I’m keen to be involved for some years to come,” Freeman said.
Part of the deal includes a WA KZ Series Sponsorship Marquee where round sponsors can watch the action with some beverages, as well as getting up close with a few of the drivers between races.
The series also wouldn’t be possible without the support from the clubs that have embraced it. And now for the first time, the series travels to 5 different tracks. Albany Kart Club has recently upgraded the their track and should now compliment the class with a longer straight. Wanneroo, Cockburn, Bunbury and Wundowie have again got on board after last year’s successful rounds.
