Link International / Motul Confirm 4th Year with HDR

press release 3 December 2013

Link International / Motul have this week confirmed a fourth consecutive season of competition Karting with the recently reorganised HDR Arrow Karts Team for calendar year 2014.

As a motorcycle parts wholesaler located in Yatala on the Gold Coast, specialising in representation, supply and distribution of a number of high quality motoring essential products, they are a continuous link between high end overseas suppliers and Australian retail outlets, providing the know-how and back-up, essential when selling quality products in Australia, like the Motul range.

“Craig and the Team at HDR Arrow Karts have always delivered on their promises and provided good exposure both on and off track for Motul”, said Mark Kelly, Marketing Co-Ordinator, Link International.

“When working through our 2014 race and advertising budgets most recently, I was happy to advise the Team at HDR that we can continue our support.  It was not a difficult decision, as they are a young, professional and competitive team.  We are looking forward to working with Craig and the team for a fourth consecutive year, and we are excited about the season ahead with HDR Arrow Race Karts.”

Like HDR Arrow Karts, Link International are part of the Yatala Enterprise Area (YEA), one the fastest growing and most dynamic industrial and commercial precincts in Australia.

“We’re thrilled that Link International / Motul have committed their continued support of our Kart Team, as we enter an entirely new period at HDR,” said Team Manager, Craig Doyle.

“DPE Kart Technology (Arrow) is an agent for Motul Kart on behalf of Link International, so it’s been a great fit with our new Arrow Race Karts deal too.”

“Over the last 3 years we’ve worked hard to trigger branding breaks and product awareness for Motul within the Australian Karting arena, online and in traditional media here at home; and we have also seen our HDR Karts appear in Motul marketing throughout the world.  This past year, images of our Karts now appear in the header of the Motul Netherlands website, on a roadside billboard in Russia, on the front cover of the “Motul Worldwide” e-magazine and our progress in the CIK Stars of Karting Series featured in the online publication, complete with a video link to on-board footage from Jarryd’s Go Pro camera.”

“Link International / Motul have been loyal to us and we have built on our affiliation, year to year.  Never resting, we are always looking for something new and different to do each year to promote Motul Kart in our operations.  The Motul Red switched livery on our # 4 KF Pro Light Kart this year is a good example.  2014 will be another big year for us at HDR and we’re extremely pleased that Link International / Motul are a strategic part of assisting us to deliver it.”

The Link International / Motul supported HDR Arrow Karts Team will launch their new racing karts and livery prior to Ipswich’s Opening Round 1 of the 5 round national 2014 CIK Stars of Karting Series, on March 28 - 29, 2014.
