  • Casey Stoner has got himself a new Birel KZ kart and says he "can't wait" to head out karting in a few days time.

  • There is another way to buy or sell your karting equipment with the launch of another karting classifieds website - KartingSales.com.au. Site creator Robert James advises the basic listings are free, but you do need to register to sell.

  • Organisers have relased the package for a new junior class in the UK. The 'complete' KGP Junior package cost £1939.00 + VAT and includes a KGP Junior Engine (125cc BMB TaG motor) fitted with Tillotson carburetor, Junior KGP restrictor, Junior exhaust and spacer, a set of Vega SL8 slicks, Freeline M radiator, Freeline water pump and water pipes, Freeline CIK airbox, Lipo battery charger, full KGP electronics, loom and start and stop buttons with LED indicator (see below):


  • The new in-grid and scales shed at Grenfell is one tidy unit:


  • The 2013 NZ Superkart season concluded with the 5th round at Manfield on the weekend. 31 karters took attended the round, but 81 competed at some stage across the year. An event report, photos and summary of the 2013 winners is on the NZ Kartsport site HERE.

  • IndyCar racer Helio Castroneves and GP2 driver Julian Leal shared the wins in Juan Pablo Montoya's charity kart race on the streets of Medellin, Colombia, on Saturday. A race wrap is on autosport.com HERE. Video of Race 1 (the day time race) below. Post race interviews can be found HERE.
