  • The Kartsport New Zealand Executive has published a range of rule changes. A 13-page PDF detailing the changes can be downloaded HERE.

  • Mark Webber reckons if he had started karting a bit younger than he did, then got to race karts in Europe, it "would have sharpened me up a bit more when racing in a pack". Read his words about karting on markwebber.com HERE.

  • Maranello Kart has announced its intention to field a works team in the 2014 Rotax Max Euro Challenge. The Italian brand is currently looking for drivers to enter in Junior and Senior MAX plus DD2. Next year's Euro MAX Challenge opens at Genk, Belgium, on April 2-6.

  • CRG factory team drivers Max Verstappen, Jordon Lennox-Lamb and Felice Tiene will all use TM engines prepared by Scottish tuner Gordon Finlayson (GFR Engines) at this weekend's KF World Championship final in Bahrain. "The decision was made to give a TM engine to all our drivers in this final race of the season" said Team Manager, Euan Jeffery. "We are also working for 2014, devising drivers' lineups and sportive programmes. We will be present in the CIK-FIA Championships and in WSK Euro Series, and also in the Rotax Euro Challenge where we will be fielding a works team."

  • Junior karters' clinic at Lithgow on January 16 and 17 next year, but entry closes on Dec 13.


  • AASA Australian Superkart Nationals are on this weekend at Wakefield Park. The Gearbox and Non-Gearbox classes will be raced seperate, each over four races after an initial qualifying session.
