some quickies to end the day...

  • The VKA has published the provisional results for the 2013 Golden Power Series, which concluded at Pucka on the weekend. A PDF of the points and placings over the five rounds for each class can be downloaded HERE.

  • The 2014 NSW State Championships will now NOT be run the Sapphire Coast Kart Club in Bega. The club's Executive advised the Karting NSW Board earlier this week that it would be unable to run the event. A replacement venue for the October 3-5 event will not be announced until after the Board's next meeting on November 20.

  • AKA Addendum #31 regarding helmet safety markings, to reinstate rule 14.01.2(a) dot point 4, to read;

  • Karting NSW wish to receive Expressions of Interest from individuals for the position of Director Financial Services. It's a voluntary position but approved out of pocket expenses will be covered. A PDF, which includes a summary of duties, can be downloaded HERE.

  • Grenfell Kart Club has confirmed the 2014 Bob Hinde Memorial will take place in the first weekend of the June/July school holidays on the 28/29 of June. Almost 200 karters entered the 2013 event and the Grenfell club is aiming to break that number next year. Bar Up Bullbars will once again be the major sponsor and the club advise they will once again be giving away two Arrow chassis.

  • OMP is set to release a new range of karting apparel for 2014 which will have matching race suits, shoes, and gloves featuring a modern new design. The OMP K-STYLE will start with option TOP KS-1, then KS-2 and up to KS-4. The new products will be revealed at the Professional Motorsport World Expo in Germany this weekend.
