and they're off!...

  • Remo Luciani wasn't racing at the NSW State Championships, but he was there. "I thought I would hate it watching everyone out there and want to be competing too" he said. "(but) I have had such a fantastic time... I did not think I would enjoy it this much." The export manager of the OTK Kart Group, Mario Pazos, also attended the state title as part of a scheduled trip to Australia to visit OTK importers. More on the Remo Racing website HERE.

  • Drivers from various racing backgrounds will come together on October 26 to compete in The Dan Wheldon Memorial Pro-Am Karting Challenge at New Castle Motorsports Park, USA. The challenge will consist of 12 corporate sponsored teams in a timed 2-hour race. Each team will have one professional race driver paired with three amateurs. The challenge will be part of the RoboPong race weekend, an endurance event Wheldon loved to compete in during the off-season.

  • Entry for the South Australian State Championship closes this Thursday, October 10. The event takes place at Bolivar on November 1 to 3. Click HERE for Supp Regs.

  • Archie Tillet (of Tillett racing seats fame) competed with CRG at the opening round of the Junior World Championship on the weekend. Is that helmet design supposed to be a shark face regurgitating Archie's head???

  • Are there any Aussies heading to the Rotax World Final who reckon they're pretty good at changing tyres? If so, you had better register for the World Tyre Change Contest and pit your skills against other kart mechanics from around the world. The task will be to dismount and then re-fit a set of Mojo D2s on AMV rims with no lube or tools.
