Non-Gearbox Superkart Nationals - Day 1

Day one of the 2013 NGB and Stock Nationals at Mallala in South Australia has been run.

The weather held off much to the relief of the organisers with the track being dry and only a light breeze present.

In Non-Gearbox Light it’s been Jonathon French ahead of Shaun Pannowitch and Shaun Jones all day with average lap times around the 1 min 20 mark and the racing close over most of the field.

In the Heavies, Brandon Stillwell is leading the charge with Rod Clarke and Ron Goldfinch arguing over the scraps at the end of day one.

The most entertaining and wheel-to-wheel action has been in the brand new Stock Honda gearbox class with Dalton Rowell having two straight wins so far in this, the classes first National meeting. Not far behind Sam Zavaglia, Stephen Castles and Ben Castles are waiting to pounce.
