The annual Australasian C&D Grade Titles were run at Morwell on the weekend by the Gippsland Go Kart Club. Wet weather curbed the carnage somewhat during Saturday's heat racing, but, as seen in these photos from Steve Dansie, Sunday was a different matter!
The event offers competitors a stack of racing (three heats plus a final) without having to contend with the hotshot stars who typically dominate 'open' style championships. The title result was based on finishing position in the final; top three below.
Above: Lachlan Fitchett (72) and Brodie Evans (5) were just two of many who fell out of the Junior National Medium final when water was splashed onto turn 1. While he DNFd Medium class, Fitchett won the Light division.
