  • The Australasian C & D Grade Titles will be run at the Gippsland Kart Club's circuit in Morwell this weekend, August 3-4. Program entry for this annual event closes on Wednesday. 13 classes are on offer, but previous state (open or closed) champions are not eligible to enter. Similarly, class winners at this event in the past are not able to re-enter that class. Supp Regs HERE. A spit roast will be held in the club's large club rooms on the Saturday night. The circuit is a bit over an hours drive from Melbourne, but there is plenty of accommodation in the area.

  • Indian F1 driver Karun Chandhok is once again running his annual 'Karun's Karting Carnival' to raise money for underprivileged children in India. It will run at the UK karting circuit Whilton Mill on September 1st and team entries are currently being taken. More info HERE.

  • 'Public' entry opens for the SKUSA Super Nationals in Las Vegas on August 1. The event's pre-entry program is now complete (early offer for SKUSA customers to enter and not miss out) and it's first in best dressed for the vacant slots in the 11-class program. A number of Australians are planning to compete at the event on November 20-24. The capped entry number for each class: S1 Pro Stock Moto – 40, S2 Semi-Pro Stock Moto - 40, S4 Master Stock Moto - 80, S5 Junior Stock Moto - 40, KZ2 Shifter - 40, TaG Senior - 80, TaG Master - 40, TaG Junior - 80, TaG Cadet - 80, Rotax DD2/DD2 Masters - 40, Rotax Junior - 40.
