- A carbon fibre kart was spotted at the Monaco Grand Prix on the weekend. Karting1.co.uk reports the machine was fitted with a KZ engine and uses the floor to generate downforce. It has a front-end setup more like a Superkart. It's not legal for CIK (or Australian) competition, but apparently there are moves in France to create a class for this type of kart. More photos and info HERE.
