  • As many of you discovered, the PayPal button didn't work when you went to puchase stickers last week! The issue has now been resolved and the stickers can once again be purchased online via PayPal or using your credit card. Full details on the Merchandise page.

  • There could be massive amounts of cash up for grabs in the Northern Ontario Karting Championship in Canada. In addition to $1000 being split across the top three in each class, organisers have promised to put $5000 up per class for the series (distributed through the top 10 placings) on the provision the series tops 120 competitors. That's a lot of dosh considering there are all these classes - Rotax Micro Max, Rotax Mini Max, Junior Rotax, Senior Rotax, Rotax DD2, Junior 125 Shifter, Senior 125 Shifter, Novice, Junior Lite 4-Stroke, Junior Heavy 4-Stroke, Senior 4-Stroke and Masters. In addition, a number of tracks will also offer their own prizes.

  • The Australian Karting Association will have two promotional displays for karting at this week's Australian F1 Grand Prix at Albert Park. The main one will be located in 'Automotive Alley' near Gate 4. The other will form part of the Australian Motorsport Foundation's display in the F1 Central Zone behind the turn1 & 2 grandstands. The displays will be manned by volunteers all day from Thursday to Sunday.

  • The remaining Fujitsu 'Cool' Drivers for 2013 have been named. In addition to the six karters announced last month (Joseph Burton-Harris, Charlotte Poynting, Cooper Murray, Bryce Fullwood, Nick Rowe and Pierce Lehane - see this News), Anton De Pasquale (17, VIC), Macauley Jones (18, NSW) and Todd Hazelwood (17, SA) will be the 'open wheel' contingent for the 2013 program. All three have been highly successful karters.
