The Redspeed kart will make a return to Australia in May, with the Tony Kart factory relaunching its renowned “red frame” back into the market.
Kart 1 Racing has been appointed the sole Australian importer and distributor for Redspeed, and will also import and distribute the full range of OTK spare parts.
The Redspeed frame is manufactured by the OTK Kart Group and is identical in design, material, and componentry to Tony Kart, apart from its distinct red frame.
“I am extremely excited about the relaunch of Redspeed. The OTK chassis is a proven and extremely competitive kart in the market, and I expect to see some great results" said Kart 1’s Managing Director, Fergus Symes.
"Late May will see the first shipment of karts to arrive, and the full range of karts will be available. Advance Orders are being taken now and will be given priority."
Kart 1 Racing will still offer three choices of frames with Redspeed, Top-Kart, and Arrow racing karts; however the Exprit range of kart will no longer be available through Kart 1 Racing.
