Twelve Australian karters will be eligible to compete at the 2013 Rotax Max Challenge Grand Final. Karting's most well known annual event will this year be held at the Nola Motorsport Park in New Orleans, Louisiana USA on 9 - 16th November.
IKD informed KartSportNews that allocation of seats will be as follows:
“Rotax have once again recognized the growing Rotax market in Australia and even though they are adding new countries and classes to the event, we have managed to retain our 12 seats.” said Ian Black from IKD.
The competition is sure to be fierce this year with most of the 2012 Australian Team returning to the Rotax Pro Tour to try to gain another invitation to the event. DD2 & DD2 Masters in particular are showing immense growth. With drivers such as Jason Pringle, Daniel Rochford and Troy Woolston already sitting high on the Rotax Ranking, the Australian team will once again provide a high caliber of drivers for the event.
