Preview: Saturday Night Series Round 7

The seventh round of the Saturday Night Go Kart Series is primed for battle this Saturday night (August 30) at Wollongong City Raceway (Kembla Grange on the South Coast of NSW), and there promises to be action aplenty.

Well over 100 drivers are set to make the trip to the Wollongong City Raceway circuit as the Saturday Night Go Kart Series winds down for the year, and still nearly all of the class series standings are yet to be determined, so each and every lap and race is going to be critical to all the drivers if they are looking to come out on top in their respective class in the overall point standings.

Heading into round seventh of the Saturday Night Go Kart Series will be last round winner from the Rookies / Midgets class runner Joshua Boggy and he will no doubt be looking for a back to back wins. Other drivers such as Anthony Bradshaw, Martin O’Brien, Chad Horsley, Dean Starling, Chris Woelms, Jacob Parsons, Nic Perre, Manuel Valesco and Leigh Wright are looking for duel round win as well after they emerged victorious in their class during the sixth round.

Each class will contest through practice and qualifying followed by three heat races, a pre final, and the much anticipated final.

Race action is set to begin at 2pm in the afternoon and continue into the night, finishing by 9pm. The Wollongong City Raceway is located on the corner of West Dapto Road and Princess Highway at Kembla Grange on the South Coast of NSW.
