IKD Junior MAX Statement

At the recent NKC conference at the Gold Coast the NKC has made significant decisions relating to the Junior Rotax class.

Effective 1st January 2009 the Junior Rotax class will be a full National Championship class.

This means that the uncertainly regarding the class is removed and the class can take its place next to the other Rotax classes at State Titles and the Rotax National Championships.

The NKC also agreed that effective 1st January 2009 the tyre for Junior Rotax will be MOJO D2. This brings Junior Rotax into line with the senior Rotax classes as well as the global participates in the Rotax Max World Challenge.

IKD commends the NKC for its farsighted decisions in support of Australian Rotax racers.
