As and Bs For Junior Sprint Classic

The Midget and Rookie classes at the annual Junior Sprint Classic in Victoria will be broken into 'A' and 'B' divisions. 'A' will be for everyone with over 12 months of racing experience, while 'B' is for those with less than 12 months of racing, plus the P-platers.

The 2008 event, which will be the 28th running of the Junior Sprint Classic, will be run by the Eastern Lions Kart Club at Puckapunyal on 13th & 14th September.

As well as trophies from 1st to 5th, there are sets of tyres for 1st place, raffles with some really great prizes including a set of mag wheels from Edwards Wheels and a J Clutch from Strike.  All entries receive a showbag with a polo shirt, spark plug, program, lollies & gifts inside. 

This juniors-only race meeting has been a major development ground kids, with the following past members moving on to bigger things in motor sport: Craig Lowndes, Cameron McConville, Jamie Whincup (who won Rookies in 1994 & 1995) and Tim Blanchard.
