Preview: Coffs Harbour 6-Hour

press release

This Saturday (August 23) at the Raleigh International Raceway, near Coffs Harbour, will see the running of the Powered by Honda ProKart Australia ‘Coffs Harbour 6 hour’ Endurance Kart race that will incorporate both the New South Wales and Queensland Championship rounds as well as the National Championship round.

A total of over 100 drivers have nominated for the ‘Coffs Harbour 6 hour’ race that will hold over 30 teams that have between two to three drivers per team.

Teams from throughout both New South Wales and Queensland are primed to contest the ‘Coffs Harbour 6 Hour’ race that will have teams including: the New South Wales based Wollongong City Raceway Jets who have been successful so far this year, and Queensland based teams DQ International Racing (pictured), PDS Grand Prix Racing, McMah Racing, and so many more.

The team that everyone is looking to hunt down is Adrenalin Rush Racing; they have been very successful throughout this year’s racing and they are the ones to watch out for as they hope to make the ‘Coffs Harbour 6 Hour’ their very own.

Endurance Kart Racing consistently brings in plenty of race action and sees the switch of positions throughout the race due to drivers having to pit, driver changes, and re-fuel. The race action itself is also a test for the drivers themselves as they must drive for long periods at a time which will test their driving skills and also test each team through preparation and team work.

Each team will partake in both practice and qualifying sessions early in the morning, followed by the ‘Coffs Harbour 6 Hour’ race later in the day at 2pm and conclude by 8pm under lights.

The Raleigh International Raceway is located on the Valery Road, Raleigh, near Coffs Harbour.
