Foyle Takes Out NSW Speedway Kart Championship

press release

Heading into the recent NSW Speedway Kart Championship at Nepean Raceway the aim for Midget class competitor Corey Foyle was to just do the best he possibly could, and his best on the day saw him take out the victory spoils.

In only his second season of Speedway Karting, the 10-year-old started the NSW Championship final from pole position and that set up his victory.

Starting the final from pole position was the best possible position for Foyle and he was able to take full advantage of that and lead the entire race distance and take a well deserved and satisfying win.

Earlier in the weekend during Foyle’s four qualifying heat races it saw him perform consistently after he finished with a win, a fourth, a second and third place.

As one could imagine Foyle was rapt to clinch the NSW Championship victory, but was quick to mention that he competes solely for the enjoyment and winning is just a bonus. “Speedway Karting for me is to just have fun with my mates, and to take out the NSW Championship is great as I managed to achieve it in front of all my family and friends,” Foyle commented.

“Each and every time I go out on to the race track I go out there with the plan of just doing the very best I can, and the best thing aside from the friendships is the support I receive from my family because there is no pressure on me to win, as it is just to have fun.”

In 2008, aboard his # 91 new Benson Go Kart, Foyle is having a great year and is also currently leading the NSW Club Championship for the Midget class.

Aside from the support of his parents Joanna and Bryan, Foyle would like to thank his sponsors Chappo’s Towing, Bink Motorsport and Parramatta Kart Warehouse, along with the support of Troy Dean, Robbie Swain, and Dean Smith from Dean’s Tyres, Brake and Mechanical.
