Hazelwood Masters Dirt To Tar Switch

Season 2008 has been a serious learning curve for leading Australian J Junior dirt kart pilot, Todd Hazelwood and his team.

The 12 year old from South Australia has shifted to bitumen sprint kart racing with instant success in the Jjunior National Light class. In his first nominated event on his “P” plates, Todd won the event, even after starting each race from the rear of the field.

Todd recently competed for the first time in the City of Adelaide titles (below) at the Bolivar Raceway in South Australia, nominating in two classes, Junior Pro and Junior National Light. Todd won the Pro class and finished second in the National Light event against two quality fields of junior drivers.

The team has also clocked up plenty of kilometers traveling near and far in search of more track time and experience. Todd attended the Northern Territory sprint kart titles in June and finished the meeting in third position.
