One of Australia’s leading manufacturers of electrical and electronic products, PDL Electrical Solutions, will this year be the naming rights sponsor for the New South Wales Karting Championships to be held at Port Macquarie on October 3 – 5.

The Championships will be one of the largest events on the Australian karting calendar this year with drivers expected to come from all across Australia to compete for the honour of becoming NSW State Champion in their respective category.

In the corresponding championships held at Newcastle’s Mt Sugarloaf circuit last year, a total of 381 entires across 15 categories was received - a similar number of drivers are expected to converge on Port Macquarie for the 2008 event.

PDL Electrical Marketing Manager, Chris Murray, is excited about the upcoming event.

“Karting is a sport which can be enjoyed by people of all ages, Many people think it is just about the kids but it is a real family sport where everyone can get behind the wheel or be involved in some way,” said Murray.
