Long time karting stalwart and identity John Walpole has passed away. Big John succumbed to illness in the morning of March 19.

He was a Life Member of the Queensland Karting Council (see article below) and a Life Member of the Queensland Speedcar Racing Association.

Funeral details are:

• St Ignatius Catholic Church,
  30 Kensington Terrace, Toowong
  Monday 27th March at 10.30 am
