New Surface at Whyalla

  3 February 2017

It's been "a long time coming", but the Whyalla Kart Club is finally getting its race track resurfaced.

The first race meeting on the new bitumen will be a Saturday night event on March 4.

This will be a lead in to the club's annual signature event, the Whyalla City Titles, on May 13 & 14.

"We will be offering a lot more in the way of prizes, money, cheaper accommodation etc, so watch this space - details out soon!" club Secretary Dave Camwell informed KartSportNews.

  • Volunteers
  • Karting SA

  • The Karters who race locally
  • All the drivers who travel from Adelaide, Murray Bridge, Barossa, Broken Hill, Mount Gambier and Mildura.

"Once again, thanks to everyone who supported the Whyalla Kart Club. It is exciting times for all involved" Camwell added.
