Frost Continues Good Form

press release 5 July 2016

Talented Tasmanian KA4 Junior driver Tate Frost continued is good form of late with another top 10 result, this time at round 4 of the Australian Kart Championship held at the Ipswich kart track on the weekend.

Frost, who sits 9th in the KA4 Junior standings, qualified 9th and was able move forward in each of the heats giving him a grid spot of 6 for the final. However, he was pushed back at the start and missed his chance to battle for the win with the leading five drivers. Frost set the 2nd quickest lap time of the final but in the end had to settle for a very credible 10th in a field of 31.

Frost's next mainland meeting will be the 32nd City of Melbourne Titles before competing back at home at round 3 of the Andrew Walter Constructions Tasmanian State-wide Series at the Southern Tasmanian Kart Club in mid-August.

Frost is also planning on competing at the Junior Sprint before the final round of the Australian Kart Championship in late September.
