Walker Goes Back-to-Back at Junior Super Series

  8 June 2016

Driver of the #71 Bridgestone Select Mt Druitt, Liam Walker, created history last weekend at Gosford Show Ground becoming the first driver in Junior Super Series history to claim back-to-back round Victories.

Liam, now one of the more experienced drivers in the field, has shown over the last two rounds that he is a serious threat to taking the Cool Drive Junior Super Series Championship in 2016.

He claimed two wins on the day, but it was his stella drive in the Feature, coming from 14th to 4th in 15 laps, that secured the overall points win for the round.

Jack Selmes once again made the podium picking up 2nd place, one better than he did in round 2. Jack, like Liam, has gained confidence since round 2 after both struggled for pace at the opening round back in February.

Brandon Moore made his 1st appearance on the podium with a strong result winning the Feature race which helped him into 3rd overall. This result for Brandon now see’s him in 4th place in the overall Championship standings.
