THE NEW HERO 101 IS ON ITS WAY AND BRINGING A SECRET ADVANTAGE WITH IT

BUILT TO PERFORM LIKE NEVER BEFORE
This very unique proven design has been successfully raced in Europe and America and has been extensively tested by CRG to maximise its performance for Australian requirements.

CRG is excited to be offering our customers the high-performance kart designed by the Italians and tweaked by the Aussies to handle Australian conditions.

The Hero 101 is designed for the KA4 junior classes and replaces the KJJ 101. Featuring the 2016 gold line enhancements, the kart has a 320mm steering wheel, three-piece rear KG fairing, sniper caster camber adjusters, bolt-on front hubs and a floating brake disc.

Developed for the Bridgestone tyre, the new Hero 101 has already stamped it’s mark on the KA4 category by winning round one of the NSW State Titles in both light and heavy, as seen in the results above. Imagine what more can be achieved with the new ‘secret weapon’ so be sure to watch this space!

PRD GALAXY CONTINUES TO IMRPESS

Not to be outdone by other karting engines, the PRD Galaxy once again showed its competitiveness at the NSW State Titles with Pierce Lehane clearly the quickest in TaG Light and Brett Robinson bringing home a strong podium placing for his first ever TaG race in TaG Heavy.

Featuring the highly respected Swiss Ibea L9 fully machined carburetor and the world leading German PVL ignition system, both renowned as the best in their industry, the PRD Galaxy is proving to be one of the fastest, easiest to tune and responsive engines on the market,

By combining these dynamic talents to create the Galaxy engine, we have a very special engine. Added to this is a simplified wiring harness system making it highly durable so it will continue to perform when others won’t.

Pierce Lehane, powered by PRD Galaxy, clearly the quickest in TaG Light

TECH TIP
FLOATING SPROCKET CARRIERS – HOW THEY WORK

The Floating Sprocket Carrier is designed to keep your sprocket and chain in line mid corner.

As most of you will know, your axle flexes when you go through a corner. In doing so your axle sprocket is no longer in line with your engine sprocket. This not only increases the wear on your sprockets and chains but costs you power.

The floating sprocket carrier allows the centre of the sprocket hub to move with the flex of the axle while the drive of the engine holds the axle sprocket inline. On average a floating sprocket carrier adds 350rpm to your top RPM allowing you to run one less tooth.
Now available in 30mm, 40mm and 50mm axle sizes.
