  • Velocity Kart Shop is moving to the Eastern Creek International Karting Raceway. "Velocity are now officially registered dealers for Arrow, Deadly, FA & Kosmic karts" DPE Kart Technology's Bart Price advised KartSportNews. "Velocity Kart Shop will also offer the extensive range of quality karting products that DPE Kart Technology has to offer, both in-house and at race events. DPE Kart Technology would like to officially welcome Velocity Kart Shop to our dealer network."   • There are two very good reasons to enter the Kingston Cup at Oakleigh this Saturday/night: 1 - It's the venue for round 3 of the Victorian Kart Championship in June, so this is a great opportunity for race practice and setup mileage, and 2 - there's $100 cash up for grabs to the winner of each class that meets minumum numbers!

  • Mika Hakkinen has confirmed his son has quit karting. The former F1 World Champ said his 15-year old son, Hugo, has retired from racing to chase his passion, which is football. More on motorsport.com HERE.

  • Jack Doohan will make his debut with the official factory Tony Kart Racing Team at the final round of the WSK Super Master Series in Italy is this weekend. Taking place at the Adria Karting Raceway, Doohan is one of four Australian drivers entered for the event. Marcos Flack (CRG) suits up in 60 Mini, while Oscar Piastri (FA Kart) and Lachlan Hughes (Lenzo) are both entered in OK-Junior. All of Sunday's racing (Pre-finals and Finals) will be live streamed via the official WSK official website HERE. Entry list is HERE.


  • Dunlop Kartsport has appointed Chad Forward to the newly created role of Engineering and Business Development Manager. “We believe Chad will be a great asset to not only our company but also our clients" Dunlop Kartsport's Luke May told karting.net.au. "We are already looking at a stream lined ordering and processing system to work in with our new e-commerce business that will go live in the coming months.” Forward has a background working with major automotive design studios in Australia.
