AWC Motorsport Academy Preview AKC Round 2

After a successful test weekend, the AWC Motorsport Academy drivers now look ahead to round 2 of the Australian Kart Championship over the Easter long weekend.

Drivers Lochie Dalton, Jackson Callow, Brody Appleby and Nathan Zuj completed a two day test at the Eastern Lions Kart Club with considerable gains made that should help them come race weekend.

Team principle Andrew Walter said that it was very beneficial for the drivers to complete these test days in preparation for racing, they provide the opportunity for drivers and crew to work on kart setup and driver techniques without the stress of the limited practice available on race weekends.

After round 1 of the National Series team drivers Lochie Dalton sits equal 21st (KA4 Junior), Jackson Callow 18th (KA2), Brody Appleby 15th (X30) and Nathan Zuj equal 10th (X30).

With the familiar track of Pucka the team are heading into the weekend with more confidence than the opening round which was held in Dubbo NSW.
