Micro & Mini Max Opened Up at Rotax World Finals

In an official press release published overnight, BRP-ROTAX has announced that Micro Max and Mini Max will compete at the 2016 Rotax World Finals in Sarno, Italy.
Previously, only competitors from the hosting nation of a Rotax World Finals were eligible to compete; however this year drivers from all over the world will qualify in Micro Max and Mini Max.
This great news comes with confirmation that IKD has been allocated:
- 1 x Micro Max seat
- 2 x Mini Max seats
As a result of this announcement, the leader of the Micro Max Series Points and the Top 2 drivers of the Mini Max Series Points at the end of Round 6 of the Rotax Pro Tour at Puckapunyal will be the eligible winners, and will join the rest of Team Australia travelling to Italy.

Consequently, the previously announced prize of a Mini Max seat to the Rotax US Open in Las Vegas will no longer be offered. With the Mini Max prize now substantially increased, we are sure that this will be well received by the Mini Max karters.
The Rotax MAX Challenge Grand Finals is the largest international karting event on the calendar, and this year will take place at Sarno, Italy from the 16 – 22 October 2016.
