James Sera Takes Over Melbourne Kart Centre

  19 February 2016

James Sera has taken over Melbourne kart retailer Melborune Kart Centre. Sera and wife Sam are now trading from the former MKC premises at factory 13, 632 Clayton Road, Clayton South.

The move is a return to familiar surrounds for James as he was an MKC driver operating out of the same venue from 2002 to 2008, winning two of his National titles.

He subsequently opened his own retail store, James Sera's Karting Centre, and has recently gone down the path of running a professional race team. As such, the shop out grew the Osborne Avenue premises.

The two stores merging as one will see a name change to 'James Sera's Melbourne Kart Centre'. Sera will also take on MKC's Arrow and Kosmic brands, adding to their FA OTK karts and making the shop a true one-stop venue for karts, parts, apparel and accessories.

"We cannot be more excited about the transition and we look forward to servicing the loyal customers between MKC and JSKC" Sera said.

"We look forward to a great year of racing for 2016."

While they are no longer operating out of Osborne Avenue, the phone number remains the same:
