Tassie's Tate Takes On Dubbo

press release 5 February 2016

Young Launceston Kart Club member Tate Frost is heading off to Dubbo this weekend to compete in the Australian Kart Championship.

Frost (right), who captured his first State Title when he won the highly competitive Junior Clubman Class at the 2015 Tasmanian State Titles, will be eager to once again battle the best drivers in the country.

This time however he will be one of 44 entries in the KA4 Junior class.

Frost has joined forces with James Sera's Karting Centre and has also purchased a new FA kart for his assault on the national series.

With Father Anthony a noted Tasmanian Sprintcar and circuit racer, young TateĀ  has the pedigree and equipment to be at the pointy end of the field.

He recently competed in the Junior Top Guns meeting at the Oakleigh Kart Club, finishing a credible 6th in the final aboard his new ride.

The Launceston Kart Club wishes Tate all the best for his racing this weekend and for the remainder of the National Series.
