  • Remo Luciani went testing the Dunlop DFM tyre at Geelong on the wekend. The speedy veteren then posted a diary of sorts on the Remo Racing website, detailing his thoughts on the new rubber, plus the chassis setup he used on his Monaco Vegas kart. Read it HERE.

  • The trio that was suspended and then reinstated by KA has posted an open letter on the Kartbook forum. Posted by John McCleverty and carrying the names of Ralph van Doorn and Neville Scullion, the letter is directed at all the state karting councils. The post can be read HERE.

  • Tkart report that after 4 years using chassis produced by Parolin, the new signature MAD karts launched this year are made by IPK, the same group that manufactures Praga and OK1 chassis.



  • Last year's SKUSA SuperNationals winner, Louie Pagano, has formed the Elite Drivers Academy in the United States. Pagano will run three-day race schools at three prominent tracks around the country. The Academy will employ the services of several high profile championship-winning competitors to run the training sessions. The first school will take place at NOLA Motorsports Park in New Orleans. Students will receive a mix of in-class and on-track instruction, plus plenty of on-track hands-on running.


  • Entry is now open for the 2016 Victorian Country Series. Key changes over last year include longer race distances (so more time on the track), more classes offered, more points at the final round, progressive grids and 'best five' of the 6 rounds will count towards series points. 2016 series overview is HERE. Supp Regs for the opening round at Cobden on February 13-14 are on the Race Calendar page HERE. Drivers who compete at all 6 rounds will receive a free round entry in the 2017 series.
