Karting At The FPM MotorExpo

  8 April 2016

Karting has considerable representation at the 2016 FPM Motorexpo at the Royal Exhibition Building in Melbourne. The expo commenced today and runs across the weekend: 9am to 9pm Saturday, 9am to 5pm Sunday.

Organisers say the "FPM Motorexpo is a Factory Performance Motoring & Motorsport Expo focusing on Cars, Boats, & Motor Bikes built between 1960-2016". It incorporates their National Karting Expo.

"We have a number of drivers come and race with the MiniROK" Stony Creek's Callum McCaughan said, "so we let the Comer kids have a bigger exhaust and they are actually pretty even now. We found out the Comer is quite restricted by its exhaust one day when the tail pipe broke and the engine just took off!"
