press release 18 September 2015

Kurri Kurri Speedway is ready to host the Scott & Co Accountants 2015 Australian Speedway Kart Title this Saturday 19th under lights.

The NSWSKC has worked tirelessly in preparation for this blue ribbon event and will no doubt present another first class Championship.

Scott & Co Accountants have  gained naming rights Sponsor for this event, The Team at Scott & Co is a Registered Tax Agent situated in Baulkham Hills. They specialise in Small to Medium Enterprises with MYOB Setup and Support, GST Returns & Registrations, Company Formations and more.

Drivers will race for the chance at securing the green plate for their division and the opportunity of becoming the Australian Champion for the next 12 months. Many current Title holders return in hope they can go back to back.

Zak Blanch the 2014 Rookie Champion [now known as Cadet 12] has stepped up to Junior Light and hopes he can add to last year’s win.

Jake Donaldson, current Australia 1 in Junior National Light, is back and is confident on going back to back after claiming the Junior Super Series Championship just 6 weeks ago.

Peter Archer is the Current Over 40s Champ and has been in good form of late and will be looking for it to continue come Saturday night.

The 125 class is back and there is a hot field of drivers hoping to take the Aussie 1 off last year’s Champion Ayden Elliott.

All other Classes will see a newly crowned Australian Champion after last year’s Dominant display by now Sprint car drivers Daniel Sayre & Michael Saller.

Daniel took the honours in both Clubman light & Kt Modified Light , while Michael Saller won Clubman Heavy & KT Modified Heavy

There will be a different Champion named in Junior National heavy after young Litre Sprintcar driver Matt Geering has moved on to Seniors and is hoping for similar success.

Cadet 9 & 12 will also see a new Champ as Cadet 9 weren’t eligible last year and the Cadet 12 class have a lot of new faces eager to win.

All classes have a number of drivers who have been in red hot form and I don’t think anyone can say that there is a clear favourite in any division.

The countdown is on for the 2015 Australian Title and many of the teams and drivers will be burning the wick at both ends making sure that they have got everything covered before they head off to Kurri for what will be a memorable weekend.

Best of luck to all competitors and if your keen to see some great action then head out to Kurri Kurri Speedway at 73-81 Dickson Road, Loxford.

Racing Starts at 9.30.
