IKD Statement on Rotax Heavy

IKD has issued a communication regarding Rotax Heavy and the 2016 Pro Tour:
Dear COMPETITORS,
The Rotax Heavy class has always provided some great close racing at the Rotax Pro Tour. An example of this was at the Rotax Nationals last year at Ipswich, where many described it as the race of the year!
Some of you may have heard rumours that the class will be cut from the Pro Tour next year. As valued members of the Rotax Pro Tour, we are contacting all drivers (past and present) to inform you that Rotax Heavy will continue to race at the Pro Tour in 2016!
As the promoters of the Rotax Pro Tour series, IKD holds every one of our competitors in high regard and we wish to see you all on the grid in 2016, where Rotax Heavy will again receive its State Championship and National Series status!
Thank you for your participation and support, and good luck for the final round at Ipswich in October. The Rotax Pro Tour Grand Final will be our highlight of the year, where we will be crowning the Queensland State Champions AND the 2015 Rotax Max Australian Challenge Champions!
