Senior National FeatureĀ & Phil Goss Memorial

Gemma Wyllie captured her third straight Senior National Feature Light trophy with a commanding victory in the final at the Launceston Kart Club on the weekend.

This year the club also provided a first in the final using the older Yamaha J motor, with Launceston youngster Brodie Sward taking the honours from Bree Hobden.

Senior National Heavy went the way of defending champ Stephen Wrigley who defeated Alastair Lee and Mitch Evans.

Masters Pro was won by Hobart's Scott Hildyard from pre race favourite Johnathan Males who had to fight his was back through the field after a poor first lap. Third went to another Hobartian in Shane Burdon.

Masters Super Heavy was won by the dominant Scott Wrigley from Shane Toon and John Lee, all from the LKC.

The big race of the day, the Phil Goss Memorial, was an epic dual between Hildyard and Males with victory once again going to Hildyard. Third was a mighty drive from Scott Wrigley who gave away about 20kg to the lighter drivers.
