Established in 2012 by International Karting Distributors, the Jason Richards Memorial Award honours the late V8 Supercars driver Jason Richards by recognising a driver’s admirable qualities - both on and off the track.

Previous winners of the award:

  • Troy Woolston (2012)
  • Hamish Leighton (2013)
  • Steve Ellery (2014)

Additionally, the Jason Richards Cup will be awarded to the round winner of today's DD2 Final - the class in which Richards himself participated.
