City Of Melbourne Titles

  26 June 2015

The 31st annual City of Melbourne Titles will be called just that!

After a curious runaround of name changing over the past 48-hours, the event's supplementary regulations have been amended to reinstate the meeting's traditional name.

Karting Australia advised KartSportNews the confusion appears to have come from the interpretation of the hierarchy of events as listed in the 2015 Karting Australia Manual, but saying there has never been an intention by KA to drop the word Titles from the respective events.

Regardless of the confusion over what it's called, the CoM is always a cracker of a race meeting and regularly features strong interstate competition. This year should be no different with the event open to ALL Karting Australia licence holders.
