Blue Plate Added To Donaldson Collection

NSW based Junior Speedway Kart racer Jake Donaldson added a Blue Plate to his ever growing list of accomplishments taking out the 2015 Junior Heavy class at the NSW Speedway State Titles over the June long weekend.
The 13-year old took a commanding Victory Sunday afternoon winning all 5 races over the two day event. Jake, who is the Junior ambassador for Mummy’s Boy Underwear, proved too fast for the chasing pack setting a new lap record at Gosford Showground.

This is Jake’s 1st State Title in Karting Australia but of course he is the current National Title Holder in the Junior Light Division.
The number 1 INOX Lubricants machine was also entered in Junior Light where Jake showed just as much speed as he did in the Heavy Class. He would go into both class title races in pole position, and even with a recent growth spurt, Jake still showed he had what it takes up against the much lighter drivers.
Jake made a slight error on lap 2 which allowed current SKAA Australian Champion Luke Geering and Karting Australia #2 Andrew Sayre through, leaving Jake in 3rd. Jake was able to re-focus and pass Andrew soon after but he just didn’t have enough speed to catch Luke who would go on to win the blue plate in Light Division.
