Camponeschi Fastest At Sarno

Tony Kart's Flavio Camponeschi has edged out CRG's Simo Puhakka to claim fastest KZ2 qualifying time at the fourth and final round of the WSK Super Master Series at Sarno, Italy.

As usual, the cameras of WSK Promotion will cover the final day of the event on Sunday 26th April. The live streaming will be available via the official website www.wsk.it.

Camponeschi beats all on the final lap in KZ2

The Italian Flavio Camponeschi (Tony Kart-Vortex-Vega) waited until the very last lap to set the fastest time in 1’03”286, beating into second position by 0.015s the excellent Finnish Simo Puhakka (CRG-Maxter), the leader up to that moment. Third place for the French Anthony Abbasse (Sodi-TM), who drove really fast too, as well as the Italian Paolo De Conto (CRG-Maxter), 4th.

Vartanyan ahead in KF

In the final rush in KF, in the battle between the Polish Karol Basz (Kosmic-Vortex-Vega) and the Danish Nicklas Nielsen (Tony Kart-Vortex) it was the Russian Alex Vartanyan (Tony Kart-Vortex) who had the upper hand. He was the fastest thanks to his 1’05”129 and he aims at passing the two leaders, with Basz in first position. At the moment Nielsen is second and the Polish third, while the Danish Casper Roes (Kosmic-Vortex) occupies the fourth position.

Yi Fei Ye unbeatable in KF Junior

The Chinese Yi Fei Ye (Exprit-Vortex-Vega) is getting more and more consistent. Today he conquered his first pole position ever in KF Junior, beating the Danish Noah Watt (FA-Vortex-Vega) thanks to his 1’06”921. The Spanish David Vidales (Energy-TM-Vega) is third, while the Belgian Timothy Peisselon (BirelArt-Parilla) is fourth. The current leader of the category, the English Clement Novalak (Tony Kart-Vortex), had some trouble today and his overall performance was rather poor.

The hunt for Hauger is open in 60 Mini

Qualifying is scheduled for tomorrow in 60 Mini. In today's free practice, many drivers set interesting times, with the outstanding exception of the Norwegian Dennis Hauger (CRG-TM-Vega): the current leader remained behind, even though this may be part of his race strategy.
