Mouzouris' AKC Form Leads to Big Dreams

press release 13 April 2015

Angelo Mouzouris has without doubt turned heads in 2015 and has yet again put the karting community on notice with another stellar performance at the opening round of the Australian Kart Championship!

After a disappointing opening heat in KA-Junior, Mouzouris never left the top two and had an epic final battle with the likes of former state champion Cooper Murray, current State Champion Jack Doohan and City of Melbourne podium getter and fastest qualifier Corey Arnett. Mouzouris looked a hot chance to take the win until Murray was able to catch a late race break. Mouzouris closed in within half a second at the line coming home in second place.

Ange and his father have only been in the sport of karting for around two years but has found immediate success on a state and national level! Ange is leading the Victorian State Championship in JNL and after the success at the opening round of the Australian Kart Championship can only put the success down to his hard work and pure passion for the sport!

Ange had a successful partnership with Adam Macrow Kartsport in 2014 and has continued this partnership in 2015. Mouzouris has aligned his AMR partnership with Haase Karts in 2015 with Ange and his father Con believe is another big part of Anges huge success in 2015.

"The combination of Ange, AMR Kartsport and Haase Australia has been a huge part of our success in 2015” Anges father Con said.

Ange and his dad are hoping to make their way into the European Karting scene and continuing his motorsport career! “Angelo’s initial priority is his performerance in karting Australia” Con added. “Next steps will look towards spending time in Europe and then continuing down the open wheeler path”.

Ange's next meeting will be the second round of the Victorian State Championship at the Go Kart Club of Victoria in Port Melbourne. It's quiet clear the Mouzouris is going to be one of the karters to watch in the motorsport world!
