Central Coast Speedway Kart Club Kicks Off 18th Year of Speed

press release 21 February 2015

The Central Coast Speedway Kart Club boasts a proud tradition of suppling speedway karting action on the beautiful Central Coast and 2015 will be no different as the club conducts its 18th season.

The new look committee has been working extremely hard during the off season and have secured a very full calendar for their members.

The Championship season will consist of 8 rounds incorporating the prestigious Alan Hann Memorial and also the newly formed Junior Super Series.

Along with the Championship rounds, the club will proudly host the time honoured NSW State Titles to be held in June, where over 100 karters will attempt to be the States best driver in each class, as well as hosting the popular Annual Twilight  KT 50 Lap Shootout  race in August.

Last season the club held the first Junior Development day for young drivers, and was so overwhelmingly received that it will be held again this year. If that isn’t enough the club members will again showcase speedway karting at the Gosford Show in May.

Of course no plans can be made without the wonderful support of the clubs corporate partners , and again this year the club has been very well supported by a large number of local businesses.

Club members and drivers this season have the opportunity to really save some money by supporting these businesses that are supporting them .

Precision MotorSport are offering all CCSKC members a 10% discount when they purchase product from their store, and to help make the race meetings run smoother have donated a new quad bike to assist starting karts. Coastal Air Conditioning are also offering CCSKC members 10% on all installations, while MFM Omega Karts will be giving away a $50 gift cards at every club meeting for track side parts.

The club will also be proudly supported by Bleeding Edge Computers , Huckle Excavations , Davistown RSL,  Express Lube and Mush Manufacturing all who the committee will be working with,  to maximise and expose their support and services.

This year is about members having fun both on and off the track, and the Committee of the CCSKC are continuing to work on more surprises for members ! In future releases the details will be unveiled ... however for now they have a race season to get under way.

Sunday the 22nd February will be Round 1 of the 2015 Championship Season and a big field of eager speedway karter's who have spent a busy off season getting ready will converge on the Gosford Showground circuit to try and get their season points tally off to a great start.

The club will be hosting 8 classes in the championship this year and at this meeting each of the 8 classes is expected to have strong fields of very talented drivers some as young as 7 years old.

If  you haven’t had the opportunity to see speedway karts before why not come out to the Gosford Showground on Sunday 22nd  and watch this spectacle.

Racing is due to start at 9.30am and full canteen facilities available during the day and for all food and drink needs.

The meeting is open to all licensed  AKA drivers and we encourage and welcome all drivers to come and give it a go , once you do ... you’ll be back ! All details can be found at www.ccskc.com.au

The Central Coast Speedway Kart Club would like to acknowledge and thank their 2015 club sponsors: Huckel Excavations, Precision Motorsport, MFM Omega Racing Karts, Bleeding Edge Computers, Express Lube,  Davistown RSL, Coastal Air Conditioning, Mush Manufacturing.
