Local? International? We cover it all...

  • Karting Australia report that the heavy rain in Queensland has forced the Rockhampton Club to postpone this weekend's opening event of 2015 until March 7.

  • Non-Gearbox (Rotax MAX) karts are now allowed to run wings in NSW. "The NSW Superkart Club, after a want from its NGB members, had approved under AASA (Australian Auto Sports Alliance) to allow the NGB karts to run rear wings" NSW club President Wayne Horswell told KartSportNews.

Within a few weeks, seven "AVOIG" wings for NGB karts had been sold, with 4 fitted for this Sunday's opening event. AVOIG Superkarts worked through the off season to produce a new style body kit for the NGB class. Dubbed “Godzilla”, the new style gives NGB Superkarters another option when it comes to bodywork. AVOIG Stage 3, which will have beefier side pods to compliment the nose and wing, will be available in the next few months.
